This is especially invaluable when resurfacing walls… also brilliant on sanding woodwork etc. no matter how rough to begin with.
The photo gallery below shows how the walls have big patches of paint missing and lots of imperfections from where the walls have had the wallpaper stripped off.
The Festool or Mirka sander is then used to sand the walls and the dust is extracted. The end result is a smooth finish where I have resurfaced the walls and very importantly without covering the house in a fog like dust like hand sanding would of caused.
